The space around us is always important - not just how it looks but
crucially how it feels, and my first garden opened my eyes to all the
possibilities it had to offer. Seeing what was happening, when, and having a go myself (successful or not!) became captivating - I had caught the gardening bug!
I am a qualified teacher and have always loved basing lots of my lessons outside. After years of enthusiastic pottering I took the decision to take myself back to the classroom and train as a horticulturist. Gaining RHS Level 3 and embarking on my gardening career.
Since then I have taken on a wide range of projects, for both private and commercial clients. I have kept up my links with Sparsholt college where I trained, being part of the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show Gold winning team and mentoring for the current show garden.
I have also had a wonderful time working with the great crowd at Hardy's Cottage Garden Plants in Hampshire and being among all the unusual and beautiful plants they supply.
My ethos is that your garden should be allowed to flourish with the seasons and as nature dictates. I am passionate about plants and not only how they look but how they create a sense of wellbeing in us. By helping you to create beautiful but practical spaces, you can then enjoy the great outdoors, relax and reconnect with nature.
